CLARA pitches at Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona
CLARA has won an ACCEND Pitch Package for Smart City Expo World Congress, held in Barcelona from 3 to 5 November 2026. On 3 November, from 14:45 to 15:45, CLARA meets the partners of the European Twinning & CitiVERSE Plaza pavilion in a session guided by Karl-Filip Coenegrachts, Executive Director of Open & Agile Smart Cities (OASC). From 16:00 to 16:55 the same day, CLARA pitches on the central stage of the pavilion, together with the other companies selected by ACCEND. If you are at the congress, come and meet us.

How AI is helping cities tackle invisible pollution
Horizon Magazine, the research and innovation magazine of the European Union, looks at the MODELAIR project and at how AI-powered digital twins give cities a street-level picture of air pollution. BuildWind is featured as a project partner, with BrusAir as the platform that maps pollution across Brussels, including near schools, and Alessandro Gambale on where pollutants concentrate.

CLARA accepted into the ACCEND Scale Up Accelerator
CLARA has been accepted into the ACCEND Scale Up Accelerator, a Horizon Europe programme funded by the European Union that helps European deep tech companies grow across borders. ACCEND works with innovation hubs and accelerators in several European regions and focuses on three domains: smart cities, net zero cities and regenerative cities. For CLARA, the programme brings mentoring, access to partner ecosystems across Europe and guidance on international growth.

BrusAir wins the Smart City 2024 call of the City of Brussels
BuildWind is one of the winners of the Smart City 2024 call for projects "Data-Driven Smart City" of the City of Brussels, with BrusAir: an online tool for a rapid and accurate assessment of air quality in Brussels, street by street. BrusAir has been live since June 2025 and is the first application of CLARA-web.
