Request an API key

Keys are issued by hand, so we can scope each one to the cities and products you actually need. Tell us what you are building and we will come back to you, usually within two working days.

Your request

Everything except the starred fields is optional, but the more you tell us about the cities, the products and the traffic you expect, the closer the first key will be to what you need.

Historical, real-time, forecast, reports, map, geocoding.

A few lines is plenty. If you already know whether you need a server-side key or a browser key, and roughly how many calls per day, say so here. For a browser key, list the origins it will run on.

What happens next

  • We check the cities and products you asked for against what is live, and tell you straight away if something is not ready yet.
  • You get a key with a scope written to match, plus the rate limit and report quota that go with it. GET /v1/key shows you that scope at any time.
  • If the limits turn out to be wrong for your integration, say so. They are per key and we can move them.
